Dual Enrollment

Here are some examples of course tuition payment plansÌýusing the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant and the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­Access Grant. Eligible students can apply to receive grant funding through the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant. Students can receive tuition funding for additional courses as shown from the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­Access Grant if they meet the following qualifications:

  1. Maintain eligibility for the TN Dual Enrollment Grant
  2. 2.75 high school GPA to get in OR successful admission appeal
  3. Maintain a 2.0 College GPA
  4. Have taken and continue to take Dual Enrollment classes solely from Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ÌýÌý

The models are tuition only based on 3 credit hour courses. For courses that are less or more than 3 credit hours, the tuition will be billed at $191 per credit hour with a Dual Enrollment fee of $9.55 per credit hour. For courses 1-5, an eligible Dual Enrollment Grant student shall have the tuition and general fee paid for and shall only be responsible for books and course fees. For courses 6-10, the student shall receive $100 per credit hour in the Dual Enrollment Grant. If the student has taken all courses with Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­, they shall receive the difference of tuition and the general fee in Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­Access Grant funding. Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­will also pay the tuition and general fee for courses 11 and 12 for eligible Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­Access Grant Students. After 12 classes have been paid by Dual Enrollment and the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­Access Grant, the student is responsible for all tuition, general fees, course fees, and books out of pocket for any further classes that the student chooses to take at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­.
