Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Museum Studies program helped prepare me for my role as Curatorial Manager at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. At Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», I obtained a strong foundation in the basics and was able to put this knowledge to use and gain experience through the many hands-on opportunities working with museums on campus and in the local area. After graduating, I found myself far more advanced in knowledge of the museum field and better prepared for the work than most of my peers when I began my graduate program in historical administration. Now that I am working at a museum near Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»the college continues to be a resource and I am grateful for the opportunity to give back as a community partner.
